Form meets function with our leather wrapped collars. Using the street-proven foundation of the Operator Series 2″ Rigid Collar, we have wrapped the inside with the highest end American sourced leather available. Not only does the leather create a sophisticated look, but the leather protects the webbing against excessive wear and tear, is more comfortable on the dogs neck, and creates a comfortable surface to grab when using the collar to control the dog.

Underneath the layer of leather is 2″ mil-spec Heavy Scuba Webbing. Atop this first layer, we have sewn 1 3/4″ mil-spec Webbing rated at 7,000 lbs as well as 1″ mil-spec webbing rate at 4,000 lbs to stiffen the design and add the additional strength and support required by our most demanding customers. This rigid design allows the handler to use the body of the collar to apply pressure to the points behind the ears to manually “out” their dog from a bite if he becomes unresponsive to your commands.

We use a 1″ ISC Klick-Lock buckle rated to 2,600 lbs in our otherwise 2″ wide design to provide an added measure of security preventing accidental un-clipping when the collar is grabbed at the buckle, yet still allows the collar to be quickly un-clipped in an emergency. A large Velcro panel gives you plenty of space to affix identifier patches or accessories. 2 available clip in point options fit any commercial lead attachment, including large diameter climbing carabiners:

1″ Steel V-Ring: low profile option rated to 4,000 lbs.

Soft Clip In: Inspired by clip in points found on climbing harnesses, it offers a silent solution that works with all existing clip in options.

Please note that leather is a natural occurring material, therefore colors and patterning may differ slightly from photographs. These collars are not “maintenance free”, the leather will need to be re-hydrated with mink oil or other natural leather conditioners when they start to dry out. If the collar gets submerged then be sure to rinse with fresh clean water, pat dry with a towel and hang dry overnight. This will ensure your collar lasts a lifetime. If you would like a collar that requires no further care then look to our Defender and Operator Series.

2" Wide Rigid Body
Our 2" wide rigid design provides support to the dog's neck preventing possible injuries and it's rigid nature gives you the option of using it to manually "out" your partner from a bite.
Our large climbing rated V-Ring allows the handler to use any attachment option available including large diameter carabiners, and it's flat stock design helps prevent accidental unclipping where pressure on the snaps gate from a round stock ring can force it open.
ISC Klick-Lock Buckles
The Klick-Lock Buckle is redundant, meaning both sides have to be depressed to release the buckle and the release buttons are recessed which prevents accidental unclipping.
Velcro Panel
Our large 8" x 1.5" Velcro Panel allows the handler to attach identifying patches as well as accessories directly to the dog's collar.

Love this collar. We use it for agitation work. Not only does it look great, but the quality is second to none. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident the moment you examine the collar. Looking forward to many years of watching my pup work and train in this. If you want a quality collar that will last a lifetime, this what you’re looking for. I highly recommend for anyone who values getting what they pay for and who is serious about outfitting their partner with the proper equipment to train in.

This is the crown jewel of MI gear. It is unrivaled in every single way. Unbelievably well-made. The leather is soft. Our original has held up through just about everything. We won’t use another agitation collar, not that anyone else has anything like this to offer. Absolutely perfection in collar form.

Ive had the Bespoke collar for coming up on a year now. Having horses and therefore an abundance of leather tack, I thought for sure that I would have to baby the leather, keep it from getting wet, oil it etc. to keep it from cracking or molding. I have literally never even attempted to condition it because this collar has only gotten better/more supple with age. The leather is still in excellent condition after snow, mud, swimming, multiple dogs working in it, daily wear and the occasional weird accident like spilling beer on it. I know that the leather is a big concern for a lot of people I come across, but it shouldn’t be. It addes so much to the collar and takes absolutely nothing away from the durability and functionality. As for the rest of the collar, I have yet to see a single stray thread come out of the nylon. No wear spots or weak points. The velcro is still in tact and perfect after hundreds of patch switches. The hardware is the only give away to this collars age. After being tossed around in trucks, having numerous leashes clipped into the v ring and multiple dogs sized into it, Ive added quite a bit of character to the metallic black buckle. Which reminds me, the buckle is probably my favorite part of this whole set up. My dog has actually unfastened two different collars that utilize cobra buckles while working, so I was out to try something different. The klick lock is probably the best fastening mechanism I have personally ever used. Its heavy duty and smooth. The first time you fasten it, you’ll understand for yourself.
Working in the collar is a dream. It retains its shape so its easy to get your hands on even when the dog is moving. Choke offs are easier in this than the other nylon collars Ive used. I was worrries about the 2” collar being too big for my little female hands but its super comfortable and it looks good on my smaller dog as well.
Overall, I would and do recommend this collar to anyone in the working dog industry. Other companies try to create similar products, bit they miss the mark by a mile. Modern Icon has quality and functionality on lock. As someone who’s spent way too long researching products and company histories, let me save you the time. Buy the collar. Unless you hate quality and you want to replace your gear all the time. Then this is definitely not for you.
TLDR; Collar is worth every penny. Highest quality everything. 11/10 would recommend.
