These ID Plates allow you to attach personal information directly to your dog's collar for a tagless option that is silent and will not get caught on obstacles.
Easy Installation
These plates were custom designed to specifically fit any Modern Icon collar that uses 1" webbing. This makes the ID Plate compatible with our 1" Summit Collars, 1.5" Summit Collars, 1.5" Rigid Collars, 2" Rigid Collars, and 1" Soft Collars.
Your personalized information will be laser engraved onto the ID plate. Once you select a plate design, you will enter into a design mode that gives a real-time preview of your plate options. Double check your spelling and capitalization – plates will be produced exactly as requested.
It’s great! Just what I was looking for. I am curious about 1 thing though I was wondering once it’s on the collar could I get a pair of pliers and clamp down the back for an even more secure fit? Just to clarify it’s on their great already it took me hell of a time getting it on the collar and it already seems impossible to remove but clamping it down would that crack the coating causing it to rust or would it be okay. It might also help it from sliding back and forth on the collar. Just a question if I can’t clamp it that’s alright I already know that it’s not going anywhere

We generally do not recommend clamping the plate down further with pliers once it is installed. The plate itself is stainless steel, but pliers can dent the face of the plate or scratch the protective coating.
When installed correctly, the plate is designed to grip the collar securely without any additional crimping. Capturing as many layers of the collar material as possible beneath the plate will also help minimize any side-to-side movement.

This is such a clever product and eliminates the noise and snag issues from traditional hanging tags. The plate has a subtle curve so that it lays directly against the collar. Solid construction that seems like it will be highly resistant to scratching or bending. Clearly a lot of thought went into designing this. I got 2, one with my home address and one with the address for our vacation property. They are easy to switch out, and having a local address on there gives me peace of mind.
