The Tactical Deployment Lead (TDL) Tether is designed to pair with our Tactical Deployment Lead (TDL) Shackle as quick-release, tactical dog leash. The bungee-free tether keeps the dog from receiving unintentional feedback and allows the handler to provide hands-free corrections when necessary.

Stainless Swivel Snap

Our custom standard swivel snap is black coated stainless steel. The round slot design allows for an additional 180 degrees of movement—this means the lead can articulate on a double axis to further reduce tangles or accidental un-clippings.

Upgrade: Kong Frog with Swivel

This climbing rated hardware uses a redundant release mechanism, meaning both release tabs have to be depressed simultaneously to open—this prevents accidental unclipping of the lead. An in-line swivel is added to help prevent tangles.

1.5" Clip-In Point

This Daisy Chain style clip-in point allows for a standard climbing carabiner to be used as a secondary clip-in option.

Heavy Gauge Stainless O-Ring

The TDL tether features a black coated stainless steel ring used to clip in the TDL Shackle. The ring can also be used to clip in a carabiner or can be used to clip in another lead (for additional length).

Upgrade: Embroidery

A personalized name can be added with embroidery.

TDL Tether Review.

This is a great product. I use it for use on my personal dog in downtown settings while still having the option to send my dog on the fly for a bite(if need be). As well as use it at work for training dogs in longer walks in just getting used to walking with you and looking for you in surprise turns. Would recommend!

Tether

Modern Icon did a great job on this tether, it is great for taking my boy into town or busy areas. It helps to keep him close and my hands free. They were also very accommodating with making a custom change.
