Description
The Double Snap Lead is made using 2 layers of durable mil-spec webbing to create a supple and strong, tactical dog leash. Similar to a traditional Jaeger Lead, A “floating” ring allows the lead to be worn around your chest or waist and provides a hands-free leash that is designed for Personal Protection, Search and Rescue (SAR), and Schutzhund (IPO) Working Dogs.
Stainless Swivel Snap
Our custom standard swivel snap is black coated stainless steel. The round slot design allows for an additional 180 degrees of movement—this means the lead can articulate on a double axis to further reduce tangles or accidental un-clippings.
Frog-Style Clip
Made of aluminum, this is our lightest weight attachment option and is inherently rustproof. This attachment option uses redundant release tabs that must be depressed simultaneously to open the clip. The design virtually eliminates the possibility of cross-loading and accidental unclippings.
Upgrade: Kong Frog with Swivel
This climbing rated hardware uses a redundant release mechanism, meaning both release tabs have to be depressed simultaneously to open—this prevents accidental unclipping of the lead. An in-line swivel is added to help prevent tangles. *Please note: The Kong Frog will be on the dog-side of the lead while a Black Stainless Steel Snap will be on the handler-side of the lead.
1.5" Clip-In Point
This Daisy Chain style clip-in point allows for a standard climbing carabiner to be used as a secondary clip-in option.
Upgrade: Additional Clip-In Points
Additional clip in points are sewn into the lead (approximately every 1ft). These clip-in points accommodate a standard climbing carabiner and can be used to shorten the lead, clip in accessories, clip the lead back to itself, or a variety of other uses.
Floating Ring
1" floating ring provides a clip in point that allows the handler to secure the lead around his or her chest for hands-free operation.
Upgrade: Add Handle
A handle lets you keep your partner close when working. An integrated elastic loop keeps the handle neatly tucked out of the way when not in use.
Upgrade: Embroidery
A personalized name can be added with embroidery.

Overview
Please note that we do not recommend slinging the leash across the chest for Law Enforcement K9 Handlers as it could cause an officer safety issue in a street deployment. Officers looking for a hands-free option should consider our Tactical Deployment Lead, which attaches safely and securely to a fixed point on the officer and can be released under load.

Using it on an older trained dog while working with a puppy on a separate leash. The waist leash is definitely sturdy and well made. I have had several people ask where I got it.

Feels like quality lead, I like the flexibility of a regular lead and wearing it. Only downside I can say was the wait, going to buy a collar soon.
