How much room is available on the collar?
The amount of usable space is determined by the size of your dogs neck. You can use these instructions to get a specific measurement. Once you have your measurement you need to round up or down to the nearest whole number (so any fraction over 1/2 round up and any fraction under 1/2 round down). Once you have that whole number subtract 6 and that will tell you how many molle slots you have available. As a range you will find the collar size:
Small: 8-11 molle slots
Medium: 11-14 molle slots
Large: 14-17 molle slots
Extra Large: 17-20 molle slots
Example:
If your dog’s neck measures at 17.25″. Your collar size will be medium in any of our collars. To calculate available room on the Modular Collar you will round down the 17.25″ to 17, then subtract 6, which means you will have 11 molle slots available for accessories.
How much space does each accessory use?

How many accessories can I put on my collar?
Once you know how many molle slots you have available you can calculate out how many accessories can fit. One important thing to remember is that the same molle slot cannot be used for 2 accessories. This means that once that slot is full you jump to the next slot to start your count.
Example:
Using the above example, if you determine you have 11 molle slots available for accessories, you could fit a Fi Attachment (which will take slots 1-5) and then you could also put on a 4.5″ Loop Panel (which will take slots 6-11).

What if I want more accessories than I can fit?
Dog’s with smaller necks have less surface area and therefore you won’t be able to fit on as many accessories. Unfortunately you will have to pick what is most important to you. The good news is that our modular collar was made to allow you to swap accessories, so it is easy to add or remove them as desired.
